(1)在句型“It is + adj. + for + n. / pron. + to + v.”中,it 是形式主语,不 定式是真正的主语。
(2)此句型中的形容词表示句中动作的特征,
如可能性、必要性、重要性、紧迫性、频繁程度以及价值判断等。 常用于这一句型的形容词有:
common,easy,right,good, (un)important, (un)necessary
(im)possible,(un)usual等。
1.It’s very dangerous for children to cross the busy road by themselves.
对孩子们来说,独自穿过繁忙的马路很危险。
=To cross the busy street by themselves is very dangerous for children.
2.It’s difficult for us to finish the work.
对我们来说,完成这项工作很困难。

B Using adjective + enough + to + verb
B adj. + enough + to + v.
句型“somebody / something + be + adj. + enough to do something”意思是“某人或某物足够……,可以做某事”。注意enough放在形容词后面,表示达到必要的程度。如:
He is strong enough to lift the big stone. 他强壮得足以举起这块大石头。
The room is not big enough to hold 20 people.
这个房间不够大,容纳不了20人。
拓展:此句型的否定形式可与too... to... (太……以致于不能……), so... that... (太……以致于……)句型互相转换。如:
The room is too small to hold 20 people.
The room is so small that it cannot hold 20 people.
这个房间太小,容纳不了20人。

1.表示褒贬义的形容词有 polite, brave, foolish, stupid, clever, careless等。
2.表示心情、心地善良或卑劣等的有:nice, kind, good, friendly, generous, thoughtful, unkind, naughty等。
表示人的属性的形容词:
It is important for us to learn English well.
“It is + adjective + for + noun/pronoun + to + verb”句型中,形容词通常是描述事物的,修饰的对象是动词不定式。这个句型往往用于表达对某人如果做某件事情的看法,说话时这个动作可能并未完成。
It is very nice of you to lend me an umbrella.
“It is + adjective + of + noun/pronoun + to + verb”句型中,形容词多是描述人物的性格、品质的形容词,修饰的对象是句子的逻辑主语,即of后的名词或代词。而且,在说这句话之前,句中的那个动作通常都已经完成。
