课时内容:
Developing ideas包括两部分:第一部分是一篇报刊社论,主要介绍了生活中常见的关于环境保护的几个认识误区,包括:纸质购物袋优于塑料袋?关掉的电器不耗电?吃本地食物更利于环保?淋浴比泡澡更好?文章分析了这几种做法,并解释了真实的情况。第二部分 Writing a persuasive letter呈现了一封倡议“光盘行动”的信件,要求学生按照提出环保问题、分析原因、提出解决措施这个思
路,学会写劝谏性文章。
Presenting ideas部分要求学生想出几种可以减少碳足迹的做法和物品,增强环保意识。
课时目标:
1.知识素养:
(1)通过快速阅读、跳读等阅读方式,快速获取主要信息。
(2)掌握并记忆本课时的重点词汇 majority, amount, electricity, remove, urge, concerned, contribute, average, take…into account的用法。
2.能力素养:
(1)通过对公认的环保方式的重新解读,培养学生理清文章主线、获取关键信息的思维品质。
(2)学会文中具体词汇、句型的用法,并能熟练运用。
3.情感素养:通过了解更多的环保方式,培养学生的环保意识,并从自身做起,做一个环保卫士。

Look at the questions about “green living” and tick your answers.
【设计意图】通过对比选项,比较哪种做法更环保,让环保观念深入人心。在培养学生环保意识的同时,进一步接近文章主题。
