一、教学目标
知识目标
(1)能够听懂、会说并认读单词: playground tea coffee skip exercise before
(2) 能够听懂、会说并认读句子:
What time does your school start
My school starts at nine O’clock in the morning.
What time do you get up I get up at half past seven.
2.能力目标:在实际生活中能口头运用“What time …”这类语句询问事情发生的时间,并做出回答。
3.情感目标:帮助学生了解中西方学校生活的差异,热爱自己的学校生活。
二、学情分析 评论
经过三、四年级的英语学习,学生们具备了一定的听说读写技能,有较好的模仿能力,在老师的引导下,能运用所学基本句型进行语言操练,在课堂教学中能积极参与,互动交流。在本模块的知识点中,与学校有关的动词词组是学生十分熟悉和掌握较好的,由于它贴近学生生活,所以学生对此会表现出较浓厚的学习兴趣,这就为本单元的学习打下了良好的基石。另外,本单元的另一个知识点,即时间的表达方法也是学生已经掌握的,所以学生主要解决的问题是如何进行综合运用。
三、重点难点
1、教学重点
(1)单词“play ground tea coffee skip exercise before”的认读和理解。
(2)灵活运用“What time… ”询问事情发生的时间。
(3)学会用英语表示整点与半点。
2.教学难点
(1)如何结合实际,在真实的语境中运用“What time… ”句型询问事情发生的时间及其回答,并能用英语描述自己的学校生活。
(2)半点的表达方式:half past…
(3) 主语是第三人称时,动词的变化。
四、教学步骤
Step1 Greeting (3 minutes)
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Ms Zhou.
T:Blue birds.
Ss: Stand together! Fly, fly, fly to sky!
T: Sit down, please!
Ss: Thank you!
T: Where is monkey/tiger/rabbit/fish
Ss: Monkey, monkey, we are clever!/Tiger, tiger, we are the king!
/Rabbit, rabbit, we run fast!/Fish, fish, we are the best!
(设计意图:1.创设英语学习氛围,学生在快乐氛围中学习英语。
2.通过分组为后面的阶段评价做好准备。)
Step2 Warming up (2minutes)
review the number, sing a song “Ten little Indians”
(设计意图:通过歌曲,活跃了课堂气氛,增添了上课的趣味性)
Step3 look, listen and answer. (3 minutes)
Teacher plays the video of Activity1 and show some pictures about time.
T:What time is it
Ss: It’s six/seven/ o’clock.
It’s half past eight.
(设计意图:复习整点的表示方法,引出half past…句型)
Step4 your school life (10 minutes)
T: In China, your school begins at eight. So you get up at…
Ss: Seven o’clock.
T: What time does your school start

Ss: Eight o’clock.
T: It’s eight fifteen. We do morning exercises in the playground.
T: It’s half past eight. So you are late for school.
T:It’s before nine o’clock. We play our skipping rope.
And we chant
Ss: I like coffee, I like tea.
I like Amy skipping with me.
T:At ten o’clock, we go to bed.
