教材分析 本单元是义务教育人教版（pep）小学英语教科书三年级下册第六单元。单元主题为How many （有多少？）主情景图通过孩子们在公园里游玩的情景呈现本单元的核心句型和词汇。Mike和吴斌斌在写生，Mike询问吴斌斌有多少支彩笔，Sarah的弟弟拉着她在问卖气球的叔叔有多少个气球。另外，陈洁身边还有很多只鸽子，Amy旁边还有很多条鱼。Zoom和Zip在看鸟。无疑询问物品的数量并以正确的数字回答为本单元的核心内容。主情景图这样一张热闹的图片，为我们的教学提供了一个非常好的资源。A部分共三页，分三课时。第一课时为情景对话和练习部分。Let’s talk部分张鹏和Amy在观察天空中的风筝，并数了数自己能看到的风筝的数量，还谈论了风筝的样子。在这个过程中呈现了三会词汇：eleven, twelve，两会词汇：kite, beautiful。以及重点句式：How many kites do you see The black one is a bird! 在接下来的找一找、数一数的练习中，通过John和吴斌斌的对话，请学生数一数鸟的数量，从而操练了重点句式。第二课时为重点词汇和重点句型呈现，John在问Amy在水塘中看到了多少条鱼。呈现三会词汇：eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen. Let’s chant以数量问答为主要内容，在歌谣里询问朋友看到了多少辆汽车，回答为11辆。既操练了重点词汇，又操练了重点句式。第三课时为语音学习，通过唱一唱、写一写两个活动，让学生复习再现本册书中学习到的五个元音字母a, e, i, o, u在闭音节里的发音。
学习目标 1. 语言知识目标：复习元音字母a, e, i, o, u在单词中的发音。2. 学习能力目标：能够根据元音字母a, e, i, o, u的发音规律拼读含有这些字母的单词 。3. 思维能力目标：能够逐步做到见到符合发音规律的词能拼读、听到符合发音规律的词能拼写。4. 文化品格目标：能够在教师的启发下，知道英文数字13至19以内的基数词的构词规律。

导入新课 Teacher plays two short videos. Sing a song about numbers and say the chant about numbers. 用学生熟悉的歌曲和chant来开篇，营造轻松的学习氛围。
讲授新课 Teacher leads students to review words with a,e,i, o,u in them. Say the chants and review the words with a, e, i, o or u in them, they should remember how these letter make sound. Then students complete the sentences on Page 60. 这一节课是对一至五单元五个元音字母发音规律的总复习，采用之前授课用过的自然拼读教学材料作为复习内容，能够在瞬间唤起学生的记忆。
课堂练习 Teacher gives students some time to finish the exercises. Finish the exercises by themselves. 检测当堂所学内容。
课堂小结 知识容量大，内容全面，且趣味性强。
