Unit 3 Developing ideas & Presenting ideas 名师教学设计
课时内容:
Developing ideas分为两部分:第一部分介绍了中国女排凭着顽强拼搏、团结协作的精神,夺取世界冠军,为国争光。第二部分介绍了一项4×100接力赛的比赛场景,通过作者细致入微的描写,我们仿佛看到了那激动人心的场面。
Presenting ideas部分以现代奥运会的创建者 Pierre de Coubertin和美国足球运动员 Mia Hamm的言论,引出两条观点,在体育比赛过程中,是重在参与还是力争冠军。首先明确自己的观点,然后用充足的论据来论证,接着找出支持的例证来印证自己的观点,最后总结自己的观点。
课时目标:
1.掌握本课时的重点单词 burst、assign、opponent、comeback、defeat、nerve、seize、cooperation、teamwork、intense和短语 burst onto、pay off、come true、once again、contribute to、be identified as、thanks to、ups and downs、make the greatest impression on以及重要句型,并能熟练运用。
2.掌握场景描写的特征和方法,运用本单元所学语言知识,通过观察,学会细致地描述场景并根据课后要求描述一段体育场景。
3.女排精神曾被运动员们视为刻苦奋斗的标杆和座右铭,鼓舞着他们的士气和热情。鼓励学生在学习中发扬女排的刻苦钻研、勇往直前的精神,更上一层楼。

Step I Lead-in
Look at the pictures and answer the questions:
·What are the key differences between team sports and individual sports
·Can you think of any famous sports teams Why are they so well-known
Suggested answers: ·In individual sports one player competes against other players. Team sports require no less than two players on each side. In team sports,every player needs to learn to trust and depend on others,to accept help and give help,and to work together to reach a common goal. Players who excel at individual sports,however,find satisfaction pushing themselves to achieve personal goals rather than relying on the team to help them get there. 1. Read the passage on Page 35 and answer the following questions.
