Unit 2 Developing ideas & Presenting ideas 名师教学设计
课时内容:
Developing ideas部分包含两部分:第一部分是一篇关于年轻人价值观的文章。先用饼状图醒目地列出一所高校学生各种支出的具体比例,引发学生思考:中学生的消费观以及怎样理性消费。文章由青少年两种不同的消费理念:无限度支取家长的信用卡和合理利用自己手中的钱,做一些公益事业,帮助那些需要帮助的人,引出Jery Witkovsky的“四罐理财法”。第二部分 Writing a reflection要求阅读故事写反思。首先简要概述故事的内容,接着陈述自己的看法,对故事进行梳理并对其作深刻的反思、探究,剖析故事所要传达的寓意,最后得出结论。
Presenting ideas部分通过引用名人名言,让学生思考自律和自我管理的重要性,引导学生树立正确的价值观。
课时目标:
1.掌握本课时的重点单词 headline、district、necessity,toothpaste、soap、item、unprecedentedly、jar、invest、lifelong、vision、likewise、objectively、equip、nail和短语max out、In contrast to、vary from…to...、be faced with、with the help of、have no access to、at hand、thanks to、in control of、be responsible for、after all、put aside、believe in、in addition to、pass by、in anger以及重要句型,并能熟练运用。
2.通过阅读,了解 Jerry Witkovsky的“四罐理财法”,正确引导学生的消费行为,培养学生良好的消费习惯和理财能力,将钱花在最有意义的地方,树立正确的价值观。
3.通过学习范文,引导学生了解正确理财的重要性,加深对单元主题意义的认识,从而养成良好的消费习惯。

【设计意图】复述的过程是将学过的文章经过加工处理,用自己的语言,以口头形式进行表述。这种表述不是对已知材料简单的、机械的重复,而是经过自己大脑言语中枢的“加工”,创造性地再现已知语言材料的内容。教师要在每个学生复述完毕后给予中肯的评价及热情的鼓励,同时纠正一些错误。通过反馈,复述者本人及其他学生都能了解到彼此的优点及不足之处。大家可以通过互相学习,互相借鉴,使以后的课文复述变得更好、更精彩。
