It was Monday. Mr Black wanted Jack to go to London and give a letter to Mr Brown. Mr Brown’s office was next to a hospital.
Now Jack was in London, but he couldn’t find the place, so he asked the way. “Excuse me. Is there a hospital near here ” Jack asked an old woman. “Yes, there is. Go down this street. Turn left at the end. The hospital is on the right,” the old woman answered.
It was Monday. Mr Black wanted Jack to go to London and give a letter to Mr Brown. Mr Brown’s office was next to a hospital.
这是星期一。布莱克先生要杰克去伦敦给布朗先生送封信。布朗先生的办公室紧挨着一家医院。
want sb to do sth, 意为“想要某人做某事”，want的其他用法有want sth(想要某件东西)，want to do sth（想要去做某事）
give sth to sb 让某人做某事，相当于give sb sth
next to紧挨着
Now Jack was in London, but he couldn’t find the place, so he asked the way. “Excuse me. Is there a hospital near here ” Jack asked an old woman. “Yes, there is. Go down this street. Turn left at the end. The hospital is on the right,” the old woman answered.

find意为“发现;找到”,表明结果; look for意为“寻找”，强调找的动作,不表示是否找到。
