课程标准分析 本课属于“人与自我”主题语境， “生活与学习”主题群，主题语境内容为“个人、学校生活，积极的生活的态度”。本部分通过阅读理解让学生去发现高中新生活中的问题，Lisa给予他们中肯的建议去解决问题，让学生学会如何应对高中生活新挑战，为战胜挑战做准备，培养了学生的阅读理解能力，学生概括访谈的主要内容，提升归纳能力，联系实际谈论自己新生活中的的机遇和挑战，关注自身生活，拓展了视野和思维方式。
教学内容分析 本课在understanding ideas部分学生学习感知和理解了在高中课内的新挑战后，using language部分再次让学生体验高中新生活的课外活动后，本部分主要通过学生了解高中新生可能遇到的新机遇和挑战，通过进一步阅读让学生去发现这些问题，Lisa给予了他们中肯的建议，让学生学会如何应对高中生活新挑战，为战胜挑战做准备。
学生学情分析 学生对本部分的话题并不陌生，但对于可能遇到的机遇和如何应对还不是很清晰，因此需要老师在教学过程注意引导和点播，并让他们找出面临的问题和解决办法，帮助学生应对高中生活新挑战。
学习目标叙写 通过本课学习，学生将能够： 1.基于本课提供的文本、图片等多模态语篇，理解高中新生活中可能遇到的机遇和挑战以及如何应对它们的建议，通过相关话题词汇和表达，真正了解高中新生活。 2.通过阅读理解、归纳、讨论如何应对自己高中生活中的新挑战，树立正确的学习态度和生活观，积极应对新生活。 3.联系自身实际，有逻辑地表达个人的看法， 给新生做一个演讲，帮助他们顺利适应新生活，应对高中生活中的新挑战。 4.明确访谈类文章以及演讲的语言特点和语篇特征。
评价任务设计 阅读后归纳并说出高一新生可能面临的机遇和挑战，以及通过Lisa的建议提供的一些解决问题的办法。 谈论自己以及同学面临的高中学习生活中的新机遇和新挑战，针对具体问题给出建议并谈论解决办法。 发表一篇演讲针对高中新生面临的问题提出建议，并在全班展示。 辨别访谈类文章以及演讲的语言特点和语篇特征。
