What is the author's attitude towards life
Suggested answer: The auther suggests that we should cherish nad embrace the good and bad moments in life. From this we can say the author is positive about life. I quite agree with his attitude.
Language appreciation
1. Whatever our choices are, we should cherish and embrace these moments in life.
eg. You can listen to whatever kind of music you are fond of.
Language appreciation
2. As students, it's likely that those moments are mainly about school life, such as sitting a major exam, giving a presentation, or becoming a boarder for the first time.
It's imporant/necessary/ certain... that-从句
It's thought/ suggested/ believed... that从句
Language appreciation
3. You asked if I have been thinking a lot about the future now that I'm 17.
[句式分析] if-从句充当ask的宾语从句, now that意为“既然” 相当于since, now that 引导原因状语从句。 注意:像because不能与so 连用一样,since和 now that 也不能与so连用。
