Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing
教材分析:
本课涉及的内容比较多,包括一些复杂的可数名词单数变复数的词汇,以及现在进行时。考虑到现在进行时在第一单元已经反复接触、学习,所以我把教学重点放在以现在进行时为内容,融合名词复数词汇的简短语篇教学。
学情分析:
通过和学生交流,除了本课的新授单词和句型外,了解到学生对短语on their way to 不理解,旅馆hotel不会读外,我在课上会顺势对学生进行强调,解释和演示,来帮助学生朗读、记忆、理解这些有困难的短语和单词。
一、教学目标:
1.知识与技能:
学生能听懂、会说、认读、书写下列词汇:men, women, children, people, many.
学生能认读、理解、运用下列基本句型结构:
They are on their way to .
There is/are .
描述和谈论人们正在做的事情。
2.过程与方法:
整个课堂以模拟坐火车为情境进行教学,采用小组合作式、体验式等多种学习方式,通过设计游戏、情景对话等环节使学生理解掌握词汇及句型。
3. 情感态度与价值观:
提高学生的观察能力,培养学生学习英语的兴趣和学好英语的信心;努力在日常生活中尽量模仿和运用英语;学生热爱北京和自己祖国。
二、能力目标:
1. 使学生能够整体感知课文,根据提示图片复述课文。
2. 培养以旧带新掌握一定的语言技巧的能力。
三、教学重难点:
1. 要求掌握四会词语:men, women, children, people, many和现在进行时以及初步了解“there be”句型。
2. 学生能够正确认识和使用本课生词并在句式中加以应用。

一、Class opening and review
1. Greetings.

T:It is fast and not too expensive.Let’s go to Beijing by train.
Our classroom is a train.(师以手势使学生理解教室为模拟火车。)Now we are on the train.Wow,so many people.Let’s say hello to them.(出示火车上坐满人的图片)
二、New concepts
1.Men, women and children
T :
a.引出复数形式,This is a woman .One woman .These are women . Many women .板书:woman-women,Read it many times.同样引出men,children。
b.指一个男人说:This is a man .One man .
齐说:These are men .Many men.(Write man→men on the blackboard)
c. This is a boy and a girl .Boys and girls are children .Can we say “This is a children”
S:No!This is a child.
T:Great!child→children.These are many children.
d.Look,This is a people,There are many people. Do you know what’s the meaning of “many” Can you tell me (许多的)
Make an example:A book.There is a book.Many books.There are many books. Ask the students to say the similar phrases ( rulers pens erasers ...)
设计意图:以模拟坐火车为情境进行教学,运用自由交流和图片展示等方式引出重点单词复数概念和使用方法,为后面语篇的学习扫清障碍。

读一读、找一找、回答问题:

(2)再跟读录音。
(3)说一说: Make a dialogue in groups.

学生看图片表演。小组展示比赛。
(4)根据板书提示对课文进行复述。
