教材分析:
本课是冀教版五年级下册第三单元第2课,本单元的教学重点是:学生们将学习关于英语当中信件、明信片和电子邮件的词汇和表达方式,并将懂得如何书写信件,明信片和电子邮件,了解其格式的同时帮助学生了解英语国家的学生怎样和朋友及家人保持联系,传递信息,从而进一步了解西方文化,接触到中西方的差异。
本课主要学习如何用英文正确书写明信片,树立文化运用的概念。
This course is the second lesson of Unit 3 of the fifth grade .The focus of this module is: Students will learn the vocabulary and expression of letters, postcards and e-mails, and they will know how to write letters, postcards, and emails. The teachers should help students to understand how foreigners keep in touch with friends and family and send information. This course is to learn how to write postcards correctly in English, and to understand some of the cultural differences between China and the West in this process.

培养跨文化交际能力是英语教学核心素养的最高要求,针对英语教学中文化教学的特点,本节课教师紧扣课文文本,采用大量直观教学方法,以及对比和实践的教学手段,教师和学生在交流,观察,操练的过程中对比 letter, postcard, email等交流方式的特点,从而掌握明信片的书写格式。在教学过程中,教师通过设置问题培养学生学习的积极性和主动性,同时注重让学生进行小组合作学习,便于逐步培养并形成高效的学习策略和团队意识。在家庭作业环节,让学生给自己的家人或朋友写一张明信片,充分发挥学生的创造意识和运用语言技能的能力。
In order to cultivate intercultural communication ability .The class is closely combined with the teaching methods of the intuitive teaching methods. 学情简介
通过本单元第1课的学习,学生已经对letter、postcard, email有了一定的了解,但是学生对国外的地址的书写方法了解的不多,可以为学生展示国外的地址的写法,利于学生了解中西方文化的差异,培养学生较好的文化意识。
After study of lesson 1 of this unit, students have learned a certain amount knowledge
about letter, postcard, and email, but students do not know much about the writing method of foreign addresses. It helps students to understand the differences between Chinese and Western cultures by illustrating the way to write postcards. And it also will cultivate students ' cultural awareness.

1Students will learn how to write a postcard, how to address a postcard and how to put a stamp on a postcard.
2Students will be able to aurally understand, orally use, recognize and spell the following vocabulary:write 、mum 、dad 、dear 、fine 、left 、right
3Students will be able to recognize, understand and use the basic structures: Where do you write on a postcard On the left.
Where do you put the address On the right.

Step1: Class Opening and Review
1. Greetings: sing a song together which we have learned in Lesson 9
2. 设计意图:热身环节能消除学生的紧张情绪,集中注意力,为新授课打好基础。

设计意图:free talk环节,既是对前一节学习内容的复习,又为下面内容的学习做好铺垫,进而引出本节课的标题。学生人手一张的明信片是课堂直观教学的一部分,有助于孩子更好的理解明信片的书写格式。师生问答,可以锻炼学生口语表达能力。
Step2: New presentation
a. T: We know Jenny and Danny are going on a trip in Beijing. She sees many interesting places in Beijing. She wants to tell her mum and dad. What can she do Yes, she wants to send a postcard to Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Jenny writes a postcard, Now let’s read Jenny’s postcard.
设计意图:通过有针对性地提问激发学生好奇心和求知欲,引出14课大标题,带领学生感知14课文本,领略主题内容。
b. Introduce the different parts of a postcard.
T: A postcard has two parts. This is the left and this is the right. What should we write on the first Let’s check out together.
T: Where do we write on a postcard Yes, on the left. and where do we put the address Yes, on the right. Do we need a stamp Yes, don’t forget the stamp!

c. Talk about Jenny’s postcard
T: When does Jenny write the postcard Do you know the date

设计意图:借助歌曲的节奏和韵律,学生边做动作边唱歌,既复习了知识,起到巩固强化的作用,又极大程度调动了学生的学习积极性。
