一、教学目标:

(1)能够听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:turn,wrong,
(2)能够学会如何遵循基本的方向指令:Go straight. Turn left at the traffic lights.
(3)能认读、理解并运用下列基本句型结构:
How much are… They are…. I’ll take them.
2,情感态度目标:
(1) 培养学习英语的兴趣和好奇心。
(2) 通过小组活动培养互助学习的能力。
(3) 逐步提高听力以及英语朗读能力。
二、教学重点:
1、能够熟悉指令go straight, turn left, turn right, on the left, on the right.
2、能够熟练运用句型Where 's the post office How much are they I’ll take them.
三、教学难点:
1、学习指令go straight, turn left at the traffic lights.
2、能够熟练运用How much is\are… It’s\ They are…yuan.

五、教学过程:
Step1. Greeting and review
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today That’s great! Today, there are many teachers, let’s say “hello” to the teachers. Ok, then, let’s play a game: Bomb!
Step2. New concepts
(1) Teach the“ur”sounds, and read the word “turn”. Ask the students to repeat it.
(2) Do the actions: go straight, turn left, turn right, on the left, on the right. Ask a student to walk straight, turn left and turn right.
(3) Look at part1, play the tape twice while everyone follows along. Then practice in groups using “Where is … Go straight…”(part3, Look and talk)
(4) Play the tape about Part2. Ask students follow along. Have volunteers to read the sentences with emotions fluently. Next play the tape again while everyone follows along. Then answer the questions: 1. What does Jenny need 2. How much are the stamps 3.What is Danny doing
Step3. Practice
(1) Role play
Divide the class into small groups. Look at Part2, and act out. One is the woman, one is Jenny, and one is Danny.
(2) Ask the students to look at Part3, Activity1. Practice in groups. Every line is a group. The first student asks, the second student answers… Then write down these questions and answers.
Step4. Summary
