Lesson 23 An E-mail from Li Ming
一、教材分析
本课教学内容是第六册Unit4中的最后一个新授课。这一课涉及到了两部分重要内容:一是本单元重点知识—动词过去式,采用介绍照片的形式让学生学会运用动词过去式,了解动词过去式的变化规则,由于了解到学生在上一节课是第一次接触过去式,只了解一些规则的动词过去式以及一般过去时的概念,所以本节课的定位不宜过高,主要是通过创设情境让学生巩固其所学,并提高对该知识的运用能力;二是电子邮件的书写格式。电子邮件是五年级学生耳熟能详的一种沟通方式,符合孩子们结合实际生活学习语言知识的学习心理。
1. 教学目标
语言知识与技能
(1)能听懂、会说、认读、书写并正确运用以下词汇: happened,hurt,helped,was
(2)能听懂、会说、认读并口头运用以下短句:What did you do What
happened
(3)能用过去式描述图片和与自己相关的事情
(4)能按正确格式书写e-mail

(1)通过说唱、小组竞赛、动手贴词条等多种教学形式来激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生的参与意识和协作精神
(2)培养乐于交友的情感,激发学生与朋友分享快乐的欲望
学习策略
(1)通过观察、分析、总结、归纳动词过去式的变化规则,使学生主动复习和运用动词过去式
(2)借助音像资料丰富学生的学习
(3)在本课话题与情境下主动了解e-mail的书写格式
(4)通过教师评价、自我评价、小组评价培养学生自主学习的能力

三、教学步骤
Step I Class Opening (1 minute)
1. Greeting
T:How are you today
2. Warming up
T:Do you like to chant Please listen and clap your hands.
第一遍学生拍手跟唱,第二遍小组问答形式对唱。
[设计思路:通过简单问答和小组对歌形式进行说唱,营造浓厚的英语学习气氛。]
Step II New Concepts (14 minutes)
1. Leading in (4 minutes)
T:What did you do last week
(学生用过去式回答问题,介绍自己上周做过的事情)
T: I want to show my last week. Last week, I went to Guangzhou. They played football game. I watched the game. I shopped there,because I wanted to buy some gifts for my family. I had fun in Guangzhou. I liked it very much..
(边展示图片边介绍自己的上周做过的事情。)
T:Can you find the past tense verbs
(ppt出示刚才教师介绍的内容,让学生找出里面所有的过去式单词,把相应的词卡贴在黑板上)
T:What are these When do you use them
We say “play” for “Last week”, what do we say for “often”
(激励学生说出所给动词过去式的原形)
T:What can you find?Can you sort them
(激励学生观察并说出这些过去式的以几种变化规则,然后进行分类)
[设计思路:通过创设情境使学生体会动词过去式的用法,同时帮助老师摸底,了解学生对过去式的掌握情况。接着通过老师介绍自己的亲身经历来吸引学生的注意力,帮助学生回忆动词过去式的用法。之后通过观察、归纳、分类层层递进的形式让学生主动复习并了解更多的过去式变化规则。]
2. Introduce (5 minutes)
T:I have some photos. Look!Li Ming has some photos, too. He wants to send the photos to Jenny and Danny. Tell me how to send photos
(鼓励学生联系生活说出发送图片的几种方式)
T: Look! Which way does Li Ming choose (E-mail)
Please listen to the tape. Pay attention to these parts. (课件标注邮件收寄信人)
[设计意图:由上一环节的photo自然过渡到本课内容,介绍相关情境,帮助学生联系实际生活思考本课问题。在播放录音之前提醒学生稍后关注邮件的收寄信人的邮箱地址和读法,使学生有目的、有方向地听录音。]
T:What did Li Ming give to Jenny and Danny (Photos.) So “Photos for you” should be the subject. What’s subject (主题)
T:Oh,what happened (ppt显示Jenny和Danny收到邮件)Jenny and Danny got the e-mail and they saw the photos. Now please look at the dialogue and answer the two questions.
T: Can you tell me where should the red words go on the blackboard
(将标注红色的happened, helped,hurt三个单词在黑板上进行归类,其中hurt需要强调过去式不变。)
[设计思路:借助课件动画效果进一步创设情境,让学生快速默读课文找出所给问题的答案,能有效地帮助学生理解课文。归纳动词过去式活动能够帮助学生更扎实地掌握过去式的变化规则.]
3. Practice. (5 minutes)
(1)分角色朗读
T: Now let’s listen and imitate. Please read with emotion and action.
T:Now,let’s read the dialogue. Who wants to be Li Ming/Danny/Jenny?Please read with emotion.
(三名同学生分角色朗读做示范)

(2)连读
T:Boys and Girls,can you see the little marks What do they mean
(ppt显示两个连读标记,激励学生自己体会并尝试连读)
[设计思路:本环节主要通过朗读训练巩固所学,帮助学生培养富有感情的朗读能力和连读能力。分角色朗读环节包括个别示范、组内排练、展示表演三环节,层层深入。连读训练是引领学生通过观察、分析、试读,从而自觉具备连读意识。]
Step III Consolidation (14 minutes)
Story— Daxiong’s Last Week
1. 预设故事内容,听读了解故事。(2 minutes)
T:Please try to read this one:Look at this photo. (标注look at连读) Who is in the photo How does he feel Why (学生猜测原因并表达:Maybe…)
T: Now please listen and look what happened to Daxiong..
(听录音,播放故事图片和文字)
[设计思路:由上一环节连读训练自然过渡到这一环节,学生描述故事人物的心情并猜测原因,最后通过听故事检验自己的猜想,以此来培养学生自主学习能力。而故事人物又是学生非常熟悉的喜欢的卡通人物,从而能够更好地吸引学生的注意力,并促使学生积极思考问题。]
2. 考考你的记忆力。选词填空。(2 minutes)
T:Do you have a good memory? Please fill in the blanks. You have one minute.
(学生通过段落上下文选词填空,补全短文,如果多数学生遇到问题,可以提供图片帮助。)
T:Who wants to show your answer
(找一名同学朗读段落,核对答案。)
[设计意图:对刚听完的故事进行语言点训练,根据学生程度的不同可以提供不同的帮助。所填单词是围绕本课文本和重点内容所设计的动词过去式,是学生在了解趣味故事的同时巩固了对语言知识的学习。]
3. Hot seat. (4 minutes)
(1)T:I need a volunteer to be Daxiong. Who wants to have a try?
T:Daxiong, what did you do on Monday (根据故事回答)
S1:What did you do on Tuesday …
(2)T:What’s this (superstar) What’s the meaning
(叫一组四人起立示范,选一人当superstar,其他人发问,屏幕提供可参考的问题。)
T:who wants to be the superstar of our class
(叫一名同学到台前当superstar,全班发问。)
[设计意图:通过让大雄“答记者问”形式使学生之间主动进行训练,从而描述故事中大雄所做的事情。之后结合学生的实际,选superstar让学生互相发问,体现了对语言的运用。同时将课堂教给学生,体现以学生为主体的教学思想。]
4. 动手贴一贴。(3 minutes)
(There is a new E-mail!)
T:Let’s look. What is it? (空白E-mail) Oh!I can’t see it. Where is it?
Yes,it’s in your hands. Every group, please stick the e-mail together and tell me who send it.
(学生以小组为单位贴电子邮件的标题、收寄信人、主题和正文, 并展示)
5. 帮大雄答卷。(2 minutes)
T:Boys and Girls,Daxiong needs some help. Can you help him
(ppt显示大雄的英语试卷,内容是要求书写一些动词过去式)
[设计思路:以帮助大雄学习的方式进一步复习本课所学重点动词过去式,此时对学生来说应该是轻松易做的,能够提高学生的自信心和成就感,同时避免的枯燥的巩固复习方式。]
Step IV Class Closing (1 minute)
T:Wow! So many friends help Daxiong. I think he will be very happy.

I also want to be your friend. If you have some trouble on learning English, you can send me an e-mail.
