七、Teaching procedure:
Step 1. Lead in.
1. Do you often search for information on the Internet
2. How do you use the Internet
3. What do you know about Easter
【设计思路】:通过学生们喜欢的话题引出本课内容。孩子们生活在网络时代,他们深知网络给人们的生活带来的便利,他们喜欢网络,因此对这样的话题会感兴趣,并愿意表达自己的感受和看法。
Step 2. Listen to the passage and write true(T)or false(F). Danny is planning an Easter egg hunt for his cousin Debbie.
【设计思路】:用简单有趣的听力小短文,让学生们初步了解复活节的其中一个活动---搜寻复活节彩蛋。
Step 3. Learn the new words and do some exercises , make sure the students can read and use them correctly.
【设计思路】:扫清文中生词。本课生词并不多,所以采取的方法是让学生们用比赛的形式,当堂记住生词,并马上选择填空进行操练,深入了解其用法,更好地理解单词意思以及在语境中的用法。

4. In this ways, what is it like
5 .On Easter Day, what do many children do
6. What are symbols of new life
【设计思路】:培养学生的阅读能力,让学生了解课文内容,能够使用简略答语正确回答问题,并掌握生词和短语,初步了解介绍复活节的句子。
Step6: Read the lesson and fill in the blanks.

【设计思路】:再次阅读课文,深入了解课文意思,加深对关键词句的印象。
Step7:Give them some time to read the text themselves. Then let them fill in mind map , discuss the dialogues in groups. Correct their pronunciation when necessary.Then with the help of the mind map, retell the passage about Easter.
【设计思路】:通过由浅入深地学习课文,对复活节的内容,学生们基本了解了,现在学生们应该已经有能力复述课文内容了,到了知识的输出阶段了。通过复述,学生会学到从哪些方面去描写一个节日,更重要的是,知识的输出会给学生们带来一种成功的体验。
Step7 language points:
1.When Ms.Liu asked us to write a report about Easter,I decided to do all of my research on the Internet.
ask 意思是“请求,要求”, ask sb to do sth,“要求某人去做某事”。
ask sb not to do sth,“请求或者要求某人不去做某事”
My teacher asked me to do the homework.
我的老师要求我去做作业。
2. depend on 意为“依靠, 取决于”。
e.g. The plan depends on the weather.
这个计划取决于天气情
3. one of + the+ 形容词的最高级+ 可数名词复数”意思是“最……之一”。
e.g. Lucy is one of the tallest girls in the class.
Step 8.Summary.
Sum up the text what we learned,the new words,phrases,and sentences.
Step 9. Homework.
let’s write a passage about the Spring Festival .You should think about the following questions:
1.What is the Spring Festival
2.When is it
3.How is it celebrated in China
【设计思路】:此环节的设置是课文知识的延伸,有课文作基础,这个写作对于学生们来说不会太难。
Step 10.Blackboard-writing:
Search for information; play games; listen to music; watch movies; chat with friends;go shopping online
Step11. Teaching reflection:
本课是一节关于节日的阅读课,学生积极参与,其中有听、说、读、写四个环节的练习,也有知识的学以致用,但是在时间的安排上有些前松后紧,写作练习由于时间不够,没有在展台上展出学生们的作品加以品评,有些遗憾。
