一、教学目标:
1. 掌握并巩固身体部位的词汇: head, arm, hand, finger, leg, foot 等,以及运用此句型:This is my / your / his head / hand …; 能口头运用 “Point to your / his head.” 这类语句发出指令,并能根据指令指出相应的身体部位; 能口头运用“This is his head.” 这类语句谈论基本身体部位。
2.培养学生听、做、说、读的能力,以及言语表达能力。
3. 激发和培养学生学英语的兴趣,使其主动参与课堂实践活动,从而培养学生合作意识和集体主义精神。
二、教学重点:
掌握身体各部位的词汇。
三、教学难点:
运用句型 “This is his …”描述身体部位以及 head和hand的发音。
四、教学过程:
(一)、热身:Greeting:
T: Hello, boys and girls. Welcome to my class. Today we’ll learn Module 10, Unit 1 This is his head.
(二)、导入及新课教授:
1、(1) T: First, listen to the song: Ten Little Fingers. Listen and watch carefully. What parts of the body have we learnt
(2)T: What parts of the body have we learnt
Ss: Finger, hand.
T: Yes, finger, fingers, hand, hands.
(3)出示图片,一起练习描述图片。
Say: A finger, one finger, ten fingers.
A hand, one hand, two hands.
2、出示图片,教读表示身体部位的词汇,要求学生一起读单词并根据老师所说句子指向相应的身体部位。
T: Now let’s learn some new words about our parts of the body. Please read with me and do actions.
T: Head. Head, head, head. This is my head. Point to your head.
3、出示头的图片和手的图片,读单词让学生体会两个单词读音的不同。
T: Head, hand. Pay attention to their pronunciations. We can chant like this: Head, head, head, 头,头,head.
Hand, hand, hand, 手,手,hand.
4、出示胳膊图片,学生跟读并指向相应的身体部位。
T: Arm. Arm, arm, arm. This is my arm. Point to your arm.
5、出示腿图片,学生跟读并指向相应的身体部位。
T: Leg. Leg, leg, leg. This is my leg. Point to your leg.
A leg, one leg, two legs.
6、出示脚图片,学生跟读并指向相应的身体部位。
T: Foot. Foot, foot, foot. This is my foot. Point to your foot.
A foot, one foot, two feet.
7、整体操练:
T: Look at all the pictures. Can you describe them
(1)抽选不同的学生看图描述图片,对答对的学生口头夸奖。
(2)游戏: What’s missing
8、出示图片,让学生找出已学的两个形容词性物主代词,并学习新的形容词性物主代词 his。
T: Look at the picture. We have learnt two possessive pronouns. Can you find them
Ss: Your, my.
T: Good job. Yes, your, your, my, my. Your, your name. My, my name. Now, we’ll learn a new possessive pronoun, his. His, his, his. For example, his head, his hand.
9、游戏:听指令,指向相应的身体部位。
T: Now, let’s play a game. I say you do. Listen carefully to my instructions and point to the correct body parts.
抽选不同的学生指向相应的身体部位,对做得好的学生进行表扬。
(三)、拓展:
1、以排为单位抽选不同排的学生用“This is his …”句型描述图中男孩的身体部位。
T: Look at this boy. Can you point and say sentences like this “This is his …” Can you Let’s have a try.
对做得好的学生进行表扬。
(四)、总结
T: Today, we have learnt these words and sentences. And we know how to describe a man’s body parts.
(五)、布置作业
T: Finish off all the exercises. That’s all for today. Thank you. Goodbye.
