Show the following pictures to the whole class and ask them if they know the woman.
Questions:
(1) Do you know the person in the picture What was her job
(2) How would you understand her quote
Suggested answers: (1) She is Amelia Earhart, a female pilot. (2) I think her quote means that she was flying an airplane for the first time and at the time she knew that she wanted to be a pilot.

Step Ⅲ View for writing
1. First let students read Exercise 2. After students read all the information, play the video and let students know the main idea for the first time.
Suggested answer: Main idea: This story is about American aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart, the first female pilot to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean in history.
2. Let students watch the video and then ask them to tick the events and activities that they think had an influence on Amelia Earhart's decision to become a pilot.
