听后回答问题 (一对二)
1. What sport changed Joe
2. Please speak aloud at least two benefits the sport brings Joe.
【听力材料】
M: My name is Joe. I was always sick as a kid and I hated doing sports. I would rather do anything than exercise. If you told my childhood friends that I am now a lover of running, no one would believe you. But something in me started to change when I got into university. During my first week, I didn’t know anything so I was alone all the time. That’s when I realized that running is a great way to make friends and kill time when you’re alone, and there’s nothing better than a good run to clear your head when things get stressful. It’s never too late to start getting into running and exercising—after all, as the saying goes, “everything is possible”.

Three Principles of Running
Do the right amount Draw up a training plan. No one can become a long-distance 1 overnight!Set achievable goals. Jogging for only 2 minutes to start with. After running, your 3 , muscles and bones can stand without getting hurt.
4 Running trains your mind as well as your body. It will get easier with time.
5 Do not forget to take breaks. Training too much can be bad for your health.
【听力材料】
M: Someone says, “Running is a life-long sport.” If you’re ready to accept it, please don’t give up easily. If you are new to running, here is some advice for you. First, do the right amount. Draw up a training plan that is right for you. There are no shortcuts-no one can become a long-distance runner overnight! Set achievable goals. For example, jogging for only twenty minutes to start with. Make sure you are running the right amount that your heart, muscles and bones can take without getting hurt. Second, keep running. Running trains your mind as well as your body. There will be times when you want to give up. But hang in there and tell yourself that it will get easier with time. Nothing gives one more satisfaction than realizing that all the sweat and hard work were worth it in the end. Third, don’t overdo it. Do not forget to take breaks. Training too much can be bad for your health, so make sure you do not overdo it.
