教学过程:
Step I Lead-in
教师出示几种体育活动的图片,让学生说出不同活动的名称。
Ask students to look at the following pictures, guess what sports they are.
Picture one: swimming
Picture two Football
Picture three: Gymnastics
Picture four: Running
【设计意图】通过图片的导入,激发学生学习的兴趣及学习积极性,为本课主题和本节课活动的顺利开展做了个很好的铺垫。
Step Ⅱ Brainstorm
Ask students to answer the following questions.
Have your parents or teachers ever asked you to join in any training activities
How much time do you normally spend practising in a week
What do you think of your experiences
这些问题为开放型题目,学生可根据自己的实际情况进行阐述。教师对学生表达的内容进行相应的词汇和语法指导。
【设计意图】该部分让学生结合自己的亲身经历进行阐述和说明,调动学生的课堂参与度。

【设计意图】教师在播放视频前给学生展示上面图表,使学生带着任务去观看,印象深刻,培养学生的归纳总结能力。在此环节教师应该多给他们时间,并给出一些关键词帮助他们充分讨论。

Divide students into small groups and let them discuss the following question:
(l)What have learnt from the video about doing regular sports
(2)What advice would you take for yourself Explain why.
该环节为开放性讨论环节,答案不唯一,学生可根据自己的实际情况进行阐述。
Suggested answers: (1)We should do some warm-up activities before doing sports in order to protect ourselves from injuries (2)We should imitate the coach’s movements at the very beginning of learning something, such as swimming and dance.
【设计意图】通过小组讨论使这个环节气氛活跃,调动学生的积极性,同时也检测了学生对视频中所含信息的理解程度和整合能力。
Step Ⅴ Homework
Write a short passage to describe what you have learnt from the video about doing regular sports.
