华氏温度：
是德国人华伦海特(Fahrenheit)于1714年
创立的温标。它以水银作测温物质，定冰
的熔点为32度，沸点为212度，中间分为
180度，以℉表示。
华氏温标与摄氏温标是两大国际主流的计量温度的标准。

1740年瑞典人摄尔修斯(Celsius)提出在标
准大气压下，把冰水混合物的温度定为0摄
氏度，水的沸点规定为100度。根据水这
两个固定温度点来对温度进行分度。两点
间作100等分，每段间隔称为1摄氏度，记
作1℃。

本课，教师通过呈现四个动物的头像，导入小语篇。以问题What’s wrong with them 让学生整体感知文本；而后通过Read and underline及Think and answer两个形式的活动分层解读文本。层层递进的活动设计分步解读卡通故事，关注学生的趣味阅读，同时引导学生略读、寻读、精读，渗透阅读技能的指导。
