It was June a few years ago right around the summer solstice, the longest day of the year.

We have also observed people playing with their mobile phones while having dinner with others or in the presence of their families. A robotic game of cat and mouse in a lab shows us the possibilities of future robots carrying out search-and-rescue missions or wildlife protection without too much human guidance.
The Tianjicat robot developed by researchers at Tsinghua University in China uses a brain-inspired computing chip called TianjicX.The so-called neuromorphic(神经形态）chip can use a variety of Al technologies at the same time in an energy-saving way. It is one example of experiments with neuromorphic systems that could allow small robots to make decisions using limited computing resources and power.
The researchers asked the Tianjicat robot to catch up with another robot that was set to move freely in a room full of barriers. This required Tianjicat to track the mouse robot by using both sight and sound detection,and to find the best way to hunt its pretend prey(猎物）without knocking anything. The team said that the TianjicX chip reduced the amount of power for the robot cat to make decisions.

W:I work at a university as a student consultant. Students can come to my office and see me if they need help or advice. The following is what I feel about my job.
I'm here every day during the week, and my colleague is here in the evenings and at weekends. There's also an emergency telephone number at night.
Students come to me with all kinds of problems. A lot of them are worried about their studies and their exams; some want help with financial or legal problems, usually connected with renting flats and houses. Some-times they want to talk about medical problems and for some reason they don't want to see their doctors. The biggest problem, though, is lonel iness. Universities are exciting places, but a lot of students find it difficult to make friends. They miss their families and friends and feel lost in this new environment. My job is to listen and try to understand how they're feeling. But, of course, I also give practical advice when it's needed.
