2B Unit 1 What can you see教学设计
一、教材分析
本单元为二年级上册第一模块第一单元,要求学生学会交流视觉所看到的动物和颜色,是口语交际训练课,需要学生充分调动自己的视觉进行交流。因此,我设计了多个情景,在复习前一册语言知识的同时,将说、唱、听融于一体,激发学生学习兴趣,树立用英语交流的信心,了解一定文化知识。
二、学情分析
此次授课班级学生上二年级,其中男生10人,女生22人,学生性格相对沉静。经过一年半的学习,已具备一定的英语听说读能力,大部分学生已养成课前读课本预习的习惯,对新授课内容已有初步感知。本单元的核心词汇brown,white和black,以及询问单数物体颜色的“What colour is it ”“It’s...”句型,大部分学生在一年级时就已掌握。因此,本节课的重点让学生感知询问复数物体颜色的句型“What colour are they ”“They are...”。
三、教学目标
1. Language knowledge:
Listening: 1) Identifying the key words by listening to the pronunciation.
2) Understanding the key patterns to find out the colours of the objects.
Speaking: 1) Pronouncing the key words, phrases and sentences correctly.
2) Using Wh-questions to find out specific information.
3) Using Wh-questions to find out the colours of objects.
Key points: Use the key words and key patterns to talk about the colours of objects.
Difficult points: Understanding the plural forms “What colour are they ” and “They are...”.
2. Language skills:
1) Identifying the pictures after listening to the pronunciations.
2) Reacting the simple instructions in class.
3) Singing the English song learning in class.
4) Communicating with classmates in simple English.
3. Emotion and attitude:
Have students be interested in learning English and joining the communication in class.
4. Cultural awareness:
Have the students know a goddess of the Greek mythology.
四、教学过程
1. Pre-task preparations:
Activity 1: Have the students listen and watch the picture book song “Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see ”
Activity 2: Ask the students to recompose the picture book song with the sentence patterns “What can you see?” “I can see...” to review the words about animals and colours.
2. While-task activities:
Activity 1: Show students the picture of Iris. Ask the students to guess her identity and tell her story to the students.
e.g.
T: Boys and girls, what can you see
S1: The sky!
S2: The rainbow!
S3: Wow, she’s beautiful.
T: Yes. She’s beautiful. She’s Iris. She’s the goddess of rainbow.
Activity 2: Show students the pictures of Tom and Jerry and invite the students to play the two roles in the following processes. Then switch the scene to the night sky, encourage the students to answer the questions in the scene.
e.g.
T: Tom and Jerry, what can you see
Ss: I can see a star.
T: What colour is it
Ss: It’s yellow.
T: What can you see
Ss: It’s stars.
T: They are stars.
Ss: They are stars.
T: What colour are they
Ss: It’s yellow.
T: They are yellow, because we can see four stars.
Ss: Ok. They are yellow.
Activity 3: Show students the picture of a forest, and invite students to have dialogues with teacher.
T: Tom and Jerry, what can you see
Ss: I can see a tiger.
T: What colour is it
S: It’s brown.
T: Now, what can you see
Ss: I can see two foxes.
T: What colour are they
Ss: They are brown.
3. Post-task procedures:
Activity 1: Using the flash to have the students review the colour words and sentence patterns “What colour are they ” “They are...”.
Activity 2: Show the homework. Ask the students to make colourful cards for the animals they like.
