Wang Rengbing,82,is a retired(退休的) middle school teacher. He lives almost his whole life in Pianyan, Chongqing. Wang enjoys reading very much. But he was kind of sad to find that most people in his hometown did not like reading. “People seemed not to know how important it was to read. There was no bookshop or newspaper in the town at that time. People didn't have a place to read. So I decided to build a library myself. "
At first, Wang opened up part of his house for others and provided books, magazines, newspapers and tea. Many people came to his house and soon the place became too small to serve readers. Wang then bought another house in the town and opened a library. He also set up a book club. Many people joined it and they became more interested in reading.
"Some people first visited my library to chat and have some tea, and then they started to read books," said Wang. The library becomes a popular place in the town and it usually gets busy in the afternoon. Many readers say reading brings them lots of meaning.
“It's a peaceful place for us to read in. I don’t need to spend most of my free time simply staying at home, watching TV and so on," said an old reader.
Encouraged by Wang's act of kindness, some people start to give away their books to the library.
“I'm so happy that people in my hometown love reading now because of my library and me," Wang said excitedly.

范文:
How to Deal with the Arguments with Parents for Students
Teenagers often have arguments with their parents for many reasons. Last week, I did a survey on why teenagers argue with their parents. Here are the results.
35 percent of the students said that their parents thought they played computer games too much. I think teenagers should be allowed to play computer games after they finish their homework, but they shouldn't waste too much time on it. 30 percent of them argued with their parents because they got bad grades. In my opinion, there is no use to argue about that.Parents
should help their children find out why they are weak in certain subject and how to do better in it next time. 25 percent of them disliked taking after-school classes, but their parents forced them to do that. From my point of view, parents shouldn’t push their children too hard. Teenagers can choose to -learn what they are interested in. And 10 percent argued with their parents because of other problems. I suggest they communicate with their parents more.
Teenagers and parents can have a better relationship as long as they communicate and understand each other more.
