常与already, never, ever, yet, before, up to now, so far连用

2.表示过去已经开始, 持续到现在的动作或状态.常与since + 过去的时间点，for + 一段时间，so far 等时间状语连用。

“曾经去过某个地方”，常与ever, just, never等词连用，与once, twice此类的次数词连用。如：
I have been to Beijing many times.我曾去过北京很多次。
“到某地去了”，且还在去的那个地方，如：
Mr Green isn't here, he has gone to Beijing.
格林先生不在这儿，他去北京了。
意为“在某地呆了多长时间”。二者都常与表示一段时间的状语连用。如：
His brother has been in the US for five months.
