本课是一堂阅读课,学习对象为八年级学生。本课的话题选自八年级(下)Unit1 What’s the matter 是在学生学习了身体各部分单词和谈论自己及他人的身体健康状况后,来学习Bus Driver and Passengers Save an Old Man”这篇文章。
教材分析
八年级是学习英语的关键时期,但在这个阶段的学生不如七年级的学生活泼、好奇心和求知欲也没有七年级的学生强。但是本课所涉及的有关乐于助人的话题是他们所熟悉的但没有用英语表达过的,因此,本节课就是让学生用英语来表达他们所熟知的身边事来激发他们学习的热情让他们渴望用英语来表达。另外,八年级学生的一个优点是在心理方面,反映在学习英语的能力上,他们模仿和记忆的能力特别强。
