活动5:要求完成句子,巩固感官动词及描述形容词的用法。
活动6:完成这活动的练习可进一步辨认不同感官动词与相应感觉器官的对应。
活动7和8:是对本单元语音语调规则的训练及实践运用。
教学设计
一、教学目标
【知识与技能】
1. 能够正确朗读系表结构的句子,能掌握表达感受的语音语调。
2. 熟悉感官动词(look、sound、smell、feel、taste)的基本用法,并能运用感官动词描述对事物的感受和印象。
3. 能够通过听、说、读、写的练习,运用词汇:soft、sour、lovely、smell、try、sound、cookie、pizza、pie、jam等。
【情感、态度与价值观】正确表达感受,了解他人。
二、教学重难点
【教学重点】
通过谈论感觉与印象,训练学生的听说读写能力,掌握感官动词的用法。
【教学难点】
掌握“感官动词后面加形容词”这一系表结构。

四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1. Listen to an English song called “Fight the Coronavirus” and ask the Ss what the feeling is.
2. Show some pictures to introduce the sense verbs.
3. Show some pictures to introduce the new words.
4. Learn the new words together.
Step 2 The students can learn by themselves, and ask some questions about the study.
A2 Listen and number the pictures.
1. Ask the students to read the words and expressions in Activity 1.

2. Talk about something important in the text.
a. Talk about the sense verbs: feel taste sound look smell etc. Tell the students we should use adj. after the sense verbs.
b. Do some exercise about the sense verbs.
c. I’m afraid I don’t like cheese.
afraid (adj.)害怕的
I’m afraid 恐怕……
我看我明天不能参加你的聚会。
I’m afraid I can’t take part in your party tomorrow.
恐怕这奶酪并不新鲜。
I’m afraid the cheese doesn’t smell fresh.
d. a bit sour / sweet / happy / angry …
a bit = a little 后接形容词 a little sour …
但 a little 后也可接不可数名词, 如:
一点水:在瓶子里有一点水。
a little water / There is a little water in the bottle.
在这里a little = a bit of + 不可数名词
所以:There is a bit of water in the bottle.
e. You look very busy!
look busy 看上去很忙
About busy:
a) be busy with sth 忙于某事
b) be busy doing sth 忙于做某事
全国各地的医生与护士们都忙于他们的工作。
Doctors and nurses all over the country are busy with their work. / saving people.
f. I have a sweet tooth. 我喜欢吃甜食。
sweet tooth 对甜食的爱好
g. Shall I get the sugar 当说话人主动提出要做某事,尤其是主动提出帮助时,我们常用Shall I …
例如:我去给你弄点儿水喝吧?
Shall I get some water for you
我们还可以用Shall we … 来提出建议。
例如:我们给武汉多买点口罩吧?
Shall we buy more masks for Wuhan
h. … are you sure that’s sugar ……你确定那是糖吗?
be sure 后面接句子,表示“确信,相信”。
例如:
我确定明天是Betty的生日。
I am sure tomorrow is Betty’s birthday.
我们都相信我们会赢,武汉的明天会更好。
We are all sure we will win and Wuhan will be better tomorrow.
