It is well known that doing exercise can help people lose weight and have a healthy life. Now, a new study has found another good reason for doing exercise—it can help improve students’ grades.
The study was carried out by Dr. William and his team. According to the new study, students in good physical condition are more likely(可能的) to get good grades in tests.
About 2,000 students took part in the study. The students came from all different grades. They were asked to take part in a one-mile running test. It was found that if a student needed more time to finish the running, he or she would probably lose more points in the later study test.
“If people want their brains to be in good condition, they should have healthy bodies,” said Dr. William. “Parents should take the result of this study more seriously. If they want their children to do better in tests, they should plan enough time for both study and doing exercise.”

Sam loved football. Ever since he could remember, his family had been spending Saturday mornings watching football games. Finally he was old enough to join the beginner team. He was feeling nervous. Sure, he had watched a lot of football games, but that didn’t mean he was good at kicking the ball.
Now the morning of Sam’s first game was here. Everyone was running towards the ball. Sam was running too, but it was hard to keep up with the other players.
