How are you going I am very glad to share with you a meaningful activity.
In order to raise awareness of tackling our daily wastes, our school held an activity a week before the Earth Day, mainly comprised of two parts. We first made things out of waste things. For instance, we managed to make entirely new things like dolls, handbags out of worn-out clothes. Besides, we delivered speeches to expand the influence of the new green living style.
I’m convinced that, if each can do his bit and be devoted to it, our environment will become better and better.

As is known to all, with the improvement of people’s living standards, cars have become a popular means of transport. However, in reality, they emit harmful chemicals and have in turn cause problems like air pollution.
How to tackle the environmental crisis As far as I’m concerned, bicycles are a good alternative. For one thing bicycles don’t consume any petrol. For another, bicycles are environmentally friendly because they won’t generate waste gas. What’s more, riding bicycles is beneficial to our health.
Therefore, let’s take the responsibility to build up a low carbon city by riding bicycles.

In reality, garbage disposal isn’t done very well. People throw all waste into the same dustbin. After that some waste is buried deep down in the earth, which in turn causes environmental crisis like water or land pollution. Meanwhile, some wastes are burnt only to release harmful chemicals, causing air pollution.
Thus, intense measures must be taken to tackle the problem. Garbage classification is essential and meaningful in every aspect. It should be carried out to alleviate pollution and waste of resources.
