2. I want to call you but my phone isn’t working, so I’m writing to you.
我想给你打电话，但是我的电话坏了，所以我写明信片给你。
（1）这里的 work 用来表示仪器、设备的“运行、工作”若是用于否定结构如 isn’t work，则表示某一件物品“不工作了”或“坏掉了”。如:
The bike isn’t working now.
自行车现在坏了。
（2）write to 表示“写信给某人”。如：
My friend , Tom, often writes to me.
我的朋友Tom经常写信给我。

这种的句子，在陈述句后面加一个简短的问句，用来对陈述部分内容进行确认，称为反意疑问句。
例如：
It's very hot today, isn't it
今天天气很热，是不是？
回答用：Yes, it is .是的，很热。
拓展：反意疑问句
反意疑问句由两部分构成，前一部分是陈述句，后一部分是一个简略问句。通常前面部分用肯定形式，后面部分用否定形式，前面用否定形式，后面用肯定形式，前后两部分时态要一致。例如：
