What is your understanding of “This intervention is a long, much-delayed ending to a sad story, but we humans owe it to the island to give it a happy ending”
Since it is we humans that are to blame for the ecological problem with the island, we must shoulder the responsibility to make efforts to recover the ecology of it.
Think & share
Do you think it was right ro eradicate the “pests” from the island How could similar situations be avoided in the future
To avoid similar situations in the future, we should protect the local natural ecosystem and be aware of the potential impact that human activities can have on ecosystems.
