教材分析(语篇研读) 本单元话题为Chores and permission , 在第一课时的学习中,学生从听说技能入手,学习了有关chores 的表达方式。在permission方面,主要运用Could you please do sth 的句型,could一词在初一下学期就已经学过了,所以词句型对学生而言不困难,通过第一课时围绕单元话题Could you please do sth 让学生在具体的情境中感知了语言目标,并学会了各种家务的英语表达,为本节课的阅读理解和表达积累了语言基础。

讲授新课 Step 1 Pre-writing Let the students read Mr. Smith’s Letter freely . Then guide them to analyze the structure of the article . T” Please read the letter freely , and then complete two tasks about it by talking with your partners . Task 1 :Conclude the style of an English letter. Task 2: Find out the structure of the letter . After reading, let several students say the topic sentence , the supporting sentence and the concluding sentence. T: Can you write an article like that S:Yes, T:Let’s try ! Step 2 While-writing Get the students to work in groups to fill in the chart in 3a . Choose several students to say the reasons they have come up with . T: Should children do chore s I think you must have your own opinions and reasons . Please talk about them with your partners and write down more reasons to fill in the chart in 3a Discussion Children should do chores because Children should not do chores because Have the students write the article using the sentence patterns in 3b. When they’re writing , the teacher walks around the classroom . Give the students some help if they need . Dear Sir or Madam . I think /believe that ________... Step 3 Post-writing After the students finish their articles , show them an evaluation criterion (评价标准)on the screen . Let the students exchange their articles to correct . Show yourself Get one or two students to show their partners’ compositions on the screen and share their reviews with the whole class.
