一、The analysis of the teaching material
The passage talks about chores and permission by using of the modal verb “could”. We have learnt the sentence patterns of this topic. So we can go on of the topic by this reading.
The students in Grade 8 have the abilities of listening and speaking. They are in an important period of knowledge accumulation. Most of the students are interested in English. But because of the more difficult knowledge points, there are a few students who are tired of English. So how to inspire the interest is the most important thing.
