【单元写作目标】
本单元以“家务、杂务”为话题展开,引导学生学习并掌握情态动词could表示委婉地请求许可的用法。结合本单元短文所讲内容“青少年在家应不应该做家务”,具体到书面表达中,要求同学们会写有关议论的短文,即议论文
(argumentative writings)。
议论文有三要素:论点(opinion)、论据(facts)和论证(arguments)。
中学阶段英语议论文结构相对固定简单,通常为:
1.在导语部分开门见山,直接提出要讨论的问题;
2.在正文部分对所提问题进行事例论证;
3.在结尾部分进行总结、归纳,并提出自己的观点。
