NOTICE
An English film, The Endurance：Shackleton’s Legendary Antarctic Expedition, is due to be shown at 2 pm on Friday at the school hall. It depicts the expedition to the South Pole led by the famous Sir Ernest Shackleton. In 1914, Shackleton sailed towards the South Pole but unfortunately, after ten months’ voyage, their ship was crushed into pieces by ice and they had to abandon it. They finally succeeded in getting out of danger in 1916.
It was the crew members’ perseverance, endurance and resolution in the face of adversity that saved them. The film is believed to be instructive and wonderful. All the students are welcome to voice their opinions about the film after seeing the film.
