【教学设计具体内容】
一、整体设计思路本课为第四单元A部分的第一课时,通过本部分的学习,重点在于培养学生良好的听力和交际能力。教材通过Miss White与学生谈论英语派对的场景,让学生感知核心句型We'll have an English party next Tuesday. What can you do for the party I can...的语意及语用情景。本课知识与学生的现实生活联系紧密,有利于帮助学生在真实有效的情景中理解和掌握知识。本节课通过Miss White的派对邀请函进入话题,先进入main scene场景,引出We'll have an English party next Tuesday. What can you do for the party 让学生能模仿朗读并理解句型。通过整合main scene素材和教材素材,让学生在看视频、观图片、听听力中捕捉信息,听、说、认读并正确使用play the pipa, dance, sing English songs, draw pictures, do some kung fu。教师将目标词汇和句型融入在语境中,让学生感知词汇和句型的含义和用法,并且给学生足够的机会用目标语言词汇和句型进行反复操练。最后通过不同的操练方式让学生内化吸收文本内容,并指导孩子用正确的语音语调朗读、表演对话。巩固和拓展环节通过采访学生能为派对做些什么,最后产出和展示,让他们在真实的场景中熟练运用所学句型,并积极参与课堂活动,大胆表现和展示,做更好的自己。二、教学目标1.语言知识目标(1) 能够在语境中听、说、认读并正确使用短语:play the pipa, dance, sing English songs, draw pictures, do some kung fu.(2) 能够在语境中灵活应用句型:What can you do for the party I can...(3) 能够理解对话大意,能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。2.技能目标(1) 能够通过听力活动进行泛听、精听,从整体到局部感知教学内容。(2) 能将学过的动词或动词短语融入I can...句型中;讨论并描述能为派对做的事情。3.情感态度目标能够积极参与课堂活动,人尽其才,大胆表现和展示,做更好的自己。4.学习策略目标(1) 趣味教学法,通过chant、TPR等课堂活动进行语言操练。(2) 任务教学法,通过任务的设置,提高语言综合运用能力。三、教学重难点重点:学生能够理解对话大意,并用正确的语音语调朗读对话。难点:学生能够在情景中正确运用本课核心句型询问并回答能做什么事情。四、教学过程一、Before-class activities1.Play a game: I say you say2.Group division and learning goals3.Watch a video: Meet Mr Liu【设计意图】课前操练课堂用语,活跃课堂氛围;分组,激发学生的竞争合作意识;明确学习目标,激发学习动力。二、Greeting & Free talk1.Greet the students.2.Meet Mr Liu by asking some questions:What is Mr Liu's name?Where is Mr Liu from?What is Mr Liu like?What can Mr Liu do?3.Talk about what students can do.【设计意图】Meet Mr Liu改编自第一单元的阅读篇目Meet Robin,通过交谈复习旧知,了解新教师,调动学生的兴趣。最后导入话题What can you do?调动学生参与到课堂活动中来。 三、Presentation1.Show the party invitation from Miss White.Q:What party is it When is the party 【设计意图】了解重点句型We'll have an English party next Tuesday.的语意和语用情景,给学生机会操练句型。2.Show the first part of the main scene on page 36.(1)Watch the video of main scene.(2)Lead students to be able to ask “What can you do for the party ”(3)Lead students to read “play the pipa, dance, sing” and answer the questions according to their real situations.【设计意图】通过对主情景图的学习以及一系列不同的课堂活动,让学生进行操练、感知目标词汇。3.Show some pictures of Zoom.T:Zoom is talented. He can do so many things.Lead students to read the phrases: draw pictures, do some kung fu. Encourage them to do the actions at the same time.【设计意图】通过搜寻教材中Zoom绘画和练武术的图片,将目标词汇融入在语境中。通过图片、录音以及TPR教学法等多种途径带领学生感知词汇,为后续任务的开展扫清阅读障碍。4.Let’s try (1)Show the picture of Chen Jie and Mike. Q:Does Mike like parties?What does he say 【设计意图】将Let's try的录音截取出第一部分,让学生根据问题获取答案,训练学生听音捕捉信息的能力。(2)Listen and tick 1.Ask students to describe the pictures by using the sentence pattern “He can…” Then ask them to listen and tick.2.Ask students to answer and check.【设计意图】引导学生在听听力之前观察图片,预测听力内容,明确听力任务,同时引导学生听时抓关键信息,训练学生的听力技巧,提高学生的听力能力。5.Let's talk (1)Watch and answerT:Miss White wants all the students to join the English party. Chen Jie can play the pipa. Mike can draw pictures. What can Zhang Peng and John do for the party?Lead students to watch and answer.Students answer the questions and practice the conversations.【设计意图】观看视频之前老师提出问题,让学生带着问题观看课文动画,增强学生学习的目的性和主动性。课文动画这一视听结合的形式,也能让学生更容易理解课文。在学生回答问题之后,在情景中呈现和操练语言。(2)Read and act 1)Listen and repeat 2)Read in roles T:Girls, suppose you are Miss White. Boys, you are Zhang Peng. I’m John. Let’s read together. 3)Memory challenge T:Here is a memory challenge.Let's have a try. 4)Role-play in groups T:Now it’s your turn to role-play the dialogue in groups. 3 students a group. One is Miss White,one is Zhang Peng, another is John.You have 2 minutes. Let’s practice now. 5)Act it out【设计意图】播放课文录音,学生听录音跟读,可有效引导学生按照正确的语音、语调及意群朗读对话,学生在跟读、朗读、记忆挑战和角色扮演中体会、内化语言。四、Practice1.Interview2.Complete the programme sheet and practice the dialogue3.Show time【设计意图】学生在模拟的场景中真实运用本课重点句型进行问答,体验在完成任务的过程中要发挥自己的优势,以用巩固学,激发学生的学习兴趣,适时鼓励,树立他们英语学习的自信心。 五、Summary 1.Emotion education T:Boys and girls, you are helpful, you can get ready for the party.You are talented, you can perform at the party.Whatever you do,you must try your best,and do what you can. 2.Sum up by chanting【设计意图】情感升华,人尽其才,努力做更好的自己。总结反馈课堂学习情况,巩固所学知识,增强记忆。六、Homework1.Read the dialogue to your parents.2.Polish the programmes and invite your friends to come to our English party by using “What can you do for the party? I can...”.【设计意图】将课堂内容延伸,培养学生自主学习能力和语言运用能力。七、Party invitationSing an English song and invite teachers to take part in the English party.
