Almost everyone has a question or two about living in space. What is life really like in space And what do astronauts do there
Astronauts living in space have the same hygiene needs as people do on Earth. When they wake up, they wash their hair, brush their teeth and go to the bathroom as well. However, because of microgravity(微重力), astronauts take care of themselves in different ways. For example, they use a kind of special matter to wash their hair and leg restraints(腿部固定装置) to position themselves when they use the toilet.
Astronauts eat three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some food can be eaten in the natural form, such as fruit. Other foods require adding water such as noodles. There are no fridges in space, so space food must be stored and prepared properly to avoid going bad.
Besides morning routine (常规) and eating in space, astronauts perform many tasks including checking the machines, updating computer equipment(更新电脑设备), etc. At the same time, the control center on Earth sends messages to the astronauts through voice or email with new instructions to assist them in their daily routines.
What's more, living in space is not just all work and no play. A popular way of relaxation is looking out of the window. And they can also enjoy themselves by watching movies, reading books, playing cards and talking to their families during their free time.

in order to 为了, 其后跟动词原形表示目的, 其否定形式为:in order not to do sth.
thousand 和 hundred等此类单词, 跟在具体数字后无需加s和of, 没有具体数字加s和of, thousands of表示成千上万的。
根据上文中“from a shop or a supermarket”可知, 给出两个选择, 根据答语中“I am used to shopping online. 故选A。

故选A。
11. B 点拨:从下文“astronauts wouldn’t be able to leave their spaceship”知, 没有宇航服, 宇航员将不能离开宇宙飞船。

由第二段中的“…they wash their hair, brush their teeth and go to the bathroom as well.
由文中的“There are no fridges in space. . .
由第四段中的“Besides morning routine(常规)and eating in space, astronauts perform many tasks including checking the machines, updating computer equipment(更新电脑设备), etc.

B选项 “exactly the same”偷换概念。 故选A。

We had an argument about whether it was necessary to carry out outer space explorations at a class meeting recently. ①
Some students thought it was important to research the outer space① because first of all③, people can get a better understanding of the outer space. Second③, we can find new resources for human use. Third③, explorations can possibly discover new living space.
However, others thought very differently. They said this kind of exploration must cost too much money. Besides③,it is very dangerous for astronauts to do such work. ①
In my opinion②, people should research the outer space. With further space research, we may solve the population problem and pollution by moving to other planets one day. And such explorations into the outer space are worth trying out. ②
点评:①We had an argument about whether it was necessary to carry out outer space explorations at a class meeting recently. Some students thought it was important to research the outer space…从句中用了it作形式主语; it is very dangerous for astronauts to do such work.
②文中还使用了固定短语in my opinion在我看来; be worth trying out值得试验。
③范文还使用了 first of all, second, third, besides, 使文章更加连贯。
