一般过去时的用法
1） 表示过去某一时间内发生的事、存在的状态或过去反复发生的动作。常与yesterday, two weeks ago, last Sunday, in 1998,just now等表示过去的时间状语连用；表示过去的一个习惯也可以与usually, always, sometimes等频度副词连用。
David had a good time yesterday.
I usually got up early when I was young.
2）表示过去经常发生的动作，也可用“used to+do”表示。例如：
My father used to smoke.
Grandma used to be a history teacher注意：used to表示过去常发生而现在不再发生的动作或存在的状态。
