Commissioned by Milan department store,La Rinascente.The Angel figure was constructed through the use of flat
patterns,akin to the use of panels in dress making,or the development of sheet metal forms.
The wing comprised twenty metres of pleated cartridge paper suspended in the window space with monofilament
nylon.The tension and flexibility of the pleated sheet allowed it to take naturally to a flowing form.
