教学目标
一、语言知识目标:
1. 学习掌握重点词汇。
2. 学习运用重点句型。
3. 学会使用一般过去时和掌握规则动词和不规则动词的过去式变化规则。
掌握形容词变比较级的规则并加以运用。
学生能深谙各种恐龙的特征和生活习性。
二、语言技能目标:
1. 学生能根据不同恐龙的样貌特征而分辨恐龙,给出其名称。
2. 学生能正确运用一般过去时和动词过去式来描述恐龙的特征和生活习性。
3. 学生能根据所给信息进行比较,从而正确运用形容词比较级。
4. 学生能够根据听力内容提取信息,提高其听力理解能力。
5. 学生能够在教师的引导下运用所学语言探讨环保问题,并能自如地阐述自己的观点。
6. 学生在教师的引导下注意模仿语音、语调,以培养其正确的语感。

2. 培养学生自主学习和独立思考。
四、 情感态度目标:
1. 通过儿歌、故事、游戏等学生喜欢的活动,激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

3. 培养学生爱护动物、保护动物和爱护环境的意识。
五、 文化意识目标:
让学生了解物种的起源,生物的进化以及生态环境的变化。
学情分析
四年级学生在思想方面已经慢慢趋于成熟,有自己的观点和想法,他们对什么都感兴趣,可又缺乏自控能力,兴趣不持久。所以在教学设计过程中就要考虑如何持久地吸引住孩子的注意力,使其始终保持极大的兴趣和热情。在知识方面,学生已经对课本上出现的四种主要恐龙的名称、特征和生活习性等有了总体认知;而一般过去时和动词的过去式也已经学习过,大部分学生能基本掌握;比较难的是形容词比较级的正确运用。在认知程度上,学生的接受能力差距较大,两极分化日趋明显,所以在教学设计过程中要让不同层次的学生学有所得。
