First I visited the Slender West Lake. The area of the Slender West Lake is about 133 hectares. There are many gardens around the lake. The gardens in Yangzhou are quite different from those in other places. The scenery is pleasant. I like it very much. Then I saw the Ancient Canal that is called Yangzhou’s Mother River. It is about 30 kilometers long. It plays an important role in the history of Yangzhou. At last,I went to Yangzhou Museum. It was built in 1951. Later,after a lot of repairs,it is perfect now. I saw many celebrity calligraphy and painting and paper cutting of Yangzhou style.
I think that Yangzhou is one of the most beautiful cities in China. A lot of ancient buildings show that Yangzhou is also a city with long and cultural history. After graduation,I hope I can go to Yangzhou and live and work there. This is really one of my dreams.
