教学内容
教学内容是关于动物的话题复习,具体是以动物为话题,复习《开心学英语》三年级第一册至第二册学过的
What’s that It’s a/an..., What color is it It’s..., What’s this It’s a / an …,Is this… Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t. 和复习相关单词,单词包括:whale, panda, polar bear, lion, tiger, rabbit, butterfly, snake, goat, cow, ox, hippo, monkey, bird, fish,dog, cat, red, yellow, blue, green, orange, purple, fly, read, sing, draw, swim。
教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1、复习单词:whale, panda, polar bear, lion, tiger, rabbit, butterfly, snake, goat, cow, ox, hippo, monkey, bird, fish,dog, cat, red, yellow, blue, green, orange, purple, fly, read, sing, draw, swim
2、复习句型:What’s that It’s a/an..., What color is it It’s..., What’s this It’s a / an …,Is this… Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.
(二)语言技能目标
1、能综合所学描述动物的外观、特点及习性等基本特征。
2、能根据图片的提示,写出简短的语句。
(三)情感态度目标
1、积极参与课堂活动,乐于与他人合作。
2、透过动物这一话题,呼吁大家要爱护环境,保护动物。
(四)学习策略目标
1、积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。
2、主动向老师或同学请教。
3、积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。
学情分析
学生刚学英语,完成《开心学英语》三年级第一册至第二册的学习,能
用简单的语句进行询问和表达自己,但是还未能正确运用这些单词和句子。
重点难点
重点:通过复习句型:What’s that It’s a/an..., What color is it It’s...,What’s this It’s a / an…,Is this…
Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.和相关单词:whale, panda, polar bear, lion, tiger, rabbit, butterfly, snake, goat, cow, ox, hippo, monkey, bird, fish,dog, cat, red, yellow, blue, green, orange, purple, fly, read, sing, draw, swim,学生能描述动物的外观,动作特点及习性等基本特征。
难点:1.复习的句型和单词多, 上课前,应该让学生先在家复习这些句型和单词。2. 能对动物进行正确的描述,并能根据图片的提示,写出简短的语句。
教学过程
【活动】Step 1 Warm up
T: Hello! How are you today
S1: I’m fine. Thank you. And you
T: I’m fine, too. Do you like basketball
S1:Yes, I do.
T: Do you like dogs
S1: Yes, I do.
【导入】Step 2 Lead in 
a. T: Rabbits. Dogs. They are animals. Today we are going to the zoo.
Let’s take a bus. But where’s the bus
Ss: Look, the bus!
T: Let’s go!
b. Show a picture of the zoo to students.
【讲授】Step 3 Presentation
a. T: What can you see in the zoo
S1: I can see the panda.
S2: Dog
S3:…
b. T: What’s that
Ss: It’s a butterfly.
c. Get one student to ask and the rest of the students to answer.
d. Let students go around the classroom to point to the pictures about animals using
What’s that It’s a/an...to ask and answer.
e. Guessing Game.
f. Show a picture of a fish.
T: What’s that What color is it
S2: It’s a fish. It’s blue.
T: Can you say more words about color. Red. (Point to the red chair.)
S3: Black. (Point to the blackboard.
g. Read words about color.
h. T: What color is it ( Point to the yellow chalk.)
Ss: It’s yellow.
T: What color is it ( Point to the picture of a bird.)
Ss: It’s black.
T: What color is the bird
S4: It’s black.
i. Make sentences with What color is the …
j. Ask and answer using What color is the … It’s….
【活动】Step 4 Role playing
a. Get students to choose the animal they like best and act it out.
T: For example, I’m a cat. I’m white. More examples. Hello! I’m a butterfly. I’m pink.
b. Choose some students to perform.
【讲授】Step5 Presentation
a. When the student finishes his show, I ask him some questions.
T: Hello! Cat! Can you jump
S5: Yes,I can.
b. Get more students to ask him questions about Can you…
c. Review some verbs and play games.
d. Show a picture of an elephant and get students to say something about the elephant.
e.g. Look! It’s an elephant. It’s gray. It can walk.
e. Four people in a group introduce the animals in the zoo.
f. Get some students to perform.
【活动】Step 6 Writing  
a. Let students write down what they want to say about the animals.
b. Check together.
【活动】Step7 Summary
a. Use What’s that It’s a/an..., What color is it It’s... to review words about animals.
b. Say goodbye to the animals.
【作业】Step8 Homework 
Say something about the animal you like best to your best friends or your parents.
