Unit 3 On Vacation 教学设计
一、教材分析
本课时选自开心学英语五年级下册Unit 3 第二课时,主要是通过学习,进一步巩固学生对be going to do sth . 的用法。并能熟练地运用 be going to do sth 去谈论将来的计划或打算。
二、教学目标
(一)、语言知识目标:
1.、熟练运用本单元8个动词词组。
2、熟练运用be going to do sth去谈论将来的计划或打算。
3、读懂、理解运用be going to do sth 表述的对话
(二)、语言技能目标:
1、引导学生能更熟练地用一般将来时行时描述情景。
2、通过小组合作,让有能力的学生能综合运用语言编写故事,并能小组分角色讲故事。
3、引导学生在语言的运用过程中进一步提高听、说、读、写的能力。
(三)、情感态度目标
1、让学生把学习和生活紧密地联系起来,通过有趣的情景和对话,体会英语学习的趣味,提高学习积极性。
2、让学生在学习过程中,体会成功的喜悦,增强学习的自信心。
三、教学策略
1) 情景教学策略。通过创设学生们所熟悉的与日常生活相接近的生活情景,让学生再次整体感知语言知识点,并尝试运用和交际。
2)任务型教学策略。设置任务使学生自然地使用所学语言,在运用语言的过程中发展语言能力。
3)活动教学策略。通过各种活动,让学生在活动中操练、巩固、运用。
4)小组合作学习策略。学生通过与同组同学的交流、讨论,共同合作,完成学习任务。
5)交际教学策略:创设情景,小组活动讨论,联系生活,交际运用。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warm—up

【设计意图】:通过歌曲、Free talk 、欣赏图片, 让学生放松心情,以愉快的心情投入到课堂中来。

T: Let’s look at the calendar. When can we go on vacation Oh, May Day is coming. Next week is a vacation. Hurray!(板书句子:Next week is a vacation.)
Ss: Hurray! 2. Good to know . May Day-Labor Day _May 1st But in USA and Canada is the first Monday in September.
Step2 Lead in Ask and answer the questions quickly.
【设计意图】:通过问问答答,让学生能更快地投入英语课堂气氛中;同时在轻松、愉快的心情下回忆与巩固已学习的词组和句型。

(一)Make a plan.

【设计意图】:创造情景,再现句型。通过制定计划,让学生在不知不觉中进入了教师精心创设的英语情境。引导他们使用特殊疑问句问答,再次巩固句型。

【设计意图】:这一环节衔接上一个环节句型操练,通过小组合作互动,让学生在自主的氛围中,操练知识。并从中学会模仿、借鉴他人学习的优点,学会自主学习,中肯地对同伴的表现做出评价。
3)Conversation. T: You are so clever, boys and girls. This time let’s enjoy Jenny and Gogo’s vacation plan !(观看VCD光盘,完成以下练习)

【设计意图】:练习的设置遵循阶梯式原则,先易后难。尽量兼顾不同水平的学生。在最大限度满足不同学生的个体需求,力求每个学生都有收获,从而获得最大化整体教育效益。
4)Good to know The Great Wall of China is the longest wall(最长的) in the world.
【设计意图】:让学生知道长城是世界上最长的城墙,是我国古代劳动人民用智慧和血汗筑成的。我们应学习继承、发扬我国劳动人民吃苦耐劳的精神,教育学生应该以自己是一名中国人而自豪,应竭尽全力保护这些历史古迹。
