1. Use ‘How much (How much is it / How much is a hot dog / How much for one donut ’ to ask the price; Use ‘I’ll take six.’ to express the quantity.
2. Make a comprehensive use of the structures: ‘What would you like ’, ‘I’d like…’, ‘How much is it ’ ‘How much for one...’ ‘I’ll take....’in the situation of buying and selling.
3. Experience how to be a shopkeeper or a customer ; Be encouraged to cooperate in buying and selling.

Lead-in: A song (2)A guessing game Sing a song:Do you know the donut man A guessing game:Show a part of the picture,ask the students to guess. (1)To lead in the role that we’ll learn toady and raise students’ learning interests. (2)To review the words about food, fruits and numbers; To activate their background knowledge.
Language exposure (语言输入阶段)或Presentation (知识呈现阶段):Donut shop (1) Listen, watch and answer. A. Listen and watch the flash for the first time. Answer the questions: What do they buy How much for one donut B. Listen and watch the flash for the second time. Answer a question: How many hot dogs does Jenny buy (2) Read and imitate Read the text after the tape and try to imitate the pronunciation. To present, practice and make the students use the new language points. (2)To consolidate ‘how much’, extract and explain the new language points through the task of listening. (3)Listening and reading is to let the students feel the authentic English about how to ask the price in daily life.
Practice: May’s shop Provide more sentences on the screen for students to use during the shopping. (2)Introduce May’s shop Ask three students to buy something in my shop. Provide more input for students (2)The teacher and students work together for demonstration.

Consolidation: watch and answer Watch the videos: The teacher recorded the videos during buying and selling in the market. Upload to We-Chat, ask them to watch the videos and answer some questions. To let the students observe the videos carefully and find the problems, then the teacher gives some feedback to consolidate they’ve learned today.
Homework Go to the supermarket and make a survey of commodity(日用品) prices. Make a new dialogue with your partners Act it Upload your video to We-chat. To consolidate the knowledge by using it everyday which helps the students; To experience the fun of learning English, and enhances the communication ability.
Teaching Reflection
The highlight of this course is that the teacher creates a situation for opening a market, so that students can learn with the task and achieve the purpose of using language.
During this lesson, I found some students were lack of vocabularies and more structures. Sometimes they can’t help expressing their ideas in Chinese. So as a teacher, I prepare richer language materials for students to speak English. Of course, language learning is progressive as long as the teacher and students work together.
