It was carried on a Long March 4B carrier rocket from the Taiyuan Stellite Launch Center. The satellite will provide remote sensing monitoring(检测) services in different fields.
Our country has launched many satellites, but there are not many satellites for ecosystem(生态) monitoring. The successful launch of this satellite is of great significance and value to the research in this field.
Jumang satellite is a scientific research satellite in the national civil space building. Jumang satellite uses high technologies to monitor the plant coverage rate, the speed of cloud movement, disaster assessment(评估) and so on.
This task also successfully carried two small satellites, the HEAD 2G satellite and Minhang Juvenile satellite. The HEAD 2G satellite will collect information related to global ship travel, flight of the planets and the global Internet of Things. Minhang Juvenile satellite will provide services for middle and primary school students to take part in space science research and engineering practice such as satellite design, development, carrying and launch. At the same time, it carries out the applied scientific research on the integration(融合) of space and earth carbon source monitoring.
This task is the 430th sending of the Long March rocket family. As China's space industry develops better and better, more satellites of different service types will be launched into space. China's space industry must have a brighter future.
