这个女孩胆子不够大，不敢靠近那只狗。 Ⅰ. enough作定语，意为“足够的，充分的”，位于名词之前。
I have enough money for the book.
我有足够的钱买这本书。
You have enough time to do it.
你有足够的时间来做这件事。Ⅱ. enough作状语，意为“充足地，充分地”，修饰形容词或副词，放在形容词或副词之后。
That coat is dear enough.
那件大衣很贵。

Ⅲ. enough作表语，意为“足够的”。

英国人太有礼貌了，不会在公共场合大声笑。 可以在不定式前加介词for引出逻辑主语。如：
The box is very heavy. The little boy cannot to carry.
= The box is too heavy for the little boy to carry.
The apple is very high. The child cannot reach it.
= The apple is too high for the child to reach.注意：Ⅰ. too…to结构和never一起使用是并不表示否定。如：
One is never too old to learn.

Ⅱ. “to be + too + adjective + to do”结构相当于“to be +not +adjective+ enough+ to do”,这两个句型中的形容词是反义词。1. He is too young to work.
= He is not old enough to work.
2. The girl is too short to see it.
= The girl is not tall enough to see it.
3. The question is too hard for me to answer.
