教学目标
(一)语言知识目标:
1. 能通过图片熟练表达身体部位单词;
2. 能通过补全单词及字谜活动正确拼写身体部位单词;
3. 能通过听辩活动更好地区分形近、音近的单词;
4. 能对祈使句指令作出正确反应。
(二)语言技能目标
1. 能熟练表达并运用身体部位单词;
2. 能根据课文已学的指令作出反应并运用动词及身体部位单词发出指令。
(三)学习策略目标
1. 小组合作学习,互相竞争,积极发挥主观能动作用共同完成学习任务;
2. 全班合作,各个争优,争取完成老师布置的任务。
(四)情感态度目标
在实施任务型教学与互动型学习中,学生要体现积极参与的精神及培养学习的能力,使学生在竞争中保持较高的兴趣和学习热情,而且避免产生“输赢”的想法。
学情分析
三年级学生是刚接触英语的饱含对英语学习热情的一群可爱的孩子。他们喜欢有活力、有竞争、有个人展现又有集体合作的课堂。
重点难点
1. 能正确利用开音节、短元音等音素知识正确拼读单词并辨别音近单词;
2. 能正确区分hand, head读音及辨别foot与leg, hand与arm的意思;
3. 能通过阅读句子理解身体部位的单词并拼写出来。
教学活动
【导入】Sing a song
Sing a song "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" to elicit the topic "Body" that we are going to review today.
【导入】Game: Secret Letters
Secret Letters : to arouse the Ss to say more body words with letters beginning with: a, b, e, f… etc. For example, when the teacher holds letter “a”, Ss must say out the word ”arm”. When the teacher holds the letter "b", Ss must say out the word "body" etc.
【讲授】Presentation
Present the uncompleted word cards: Ask the Ss to accomplish the words. For example: _an_; f_c_ etc. This step is to divide the body words into several groups. Such as the words with similar pronunciation: hand & head; the words with the similar structure: face & nose etc.
【活动】Practise the words by groups
hand & head; eye & ear; face & nose; foot & tooth and other words such as: leg/arm/hair/neck/shoulder. This step is to help the Ss to differentiate the similar spelling or pronunciation of some words and to strengthen their memory.
【讲授】Introduce the single and plural forms of the word
Say out all the body words and establish the single and plural forms of the words. Tell the usage and differences between "a" & "an"
【活动】Listen and React :Gym sequence
Practise the sentence structure by listening and reacting: Touch/Wash/Clean your…Teacher says and Ss do; and then one student says and other Ss do. To ask the Ss to answer with "OK"; "All right."
【练习】Task 1
Task 1: Classroom Clinic (Look at the pictures and Tick or Cross) . Look at the pictures and make a correct judgement.
【练习】Task 2
Task 2: Listen to the song and order the picture. Listen to the song "If you are happy" and order the pictures according to the song order.
【练习】Task 3
Task 3: Crossword Puzzle (Group work). To read the clues and find the pictures and write the body words with partners.
【作业】Homework
Design a mermaid princess with interesting parts of body.
