表示现在(说话瞬间)或现阶段正在进行的动作。

一般在动词后直接加-ing. 如: reading, watching
以不发音的e结尾的词去掉e再加-ing. 如: making

1. 必须是重读音节；
2. 最后只有一个辅音字母；
3. 元音字母发短元音
