1.appreciation;2.is managed;3.simply;4.delighted;5.Compared;6.chose;7.that;8.to discuss;9.for;10.the
故填is managed。
此处使用了强调句型,被强调部分是"because of the open discussion and the sharing of opinions",故用that。
此处为be eager to do sth.,固定短语,"渴望/希望做某事",故填to discuss。
故填for。

Most people think that regular (有规律的) exercise does health wonders for people, but what exactly are its health benefits (益处)
To start with, research suggests regular exercise can help make people's body strong. It helps cut down on the number of different diseases people face each year. Regular exercise throughout the year helps the working quality of people's heart become better and lower blood pressure. During exercise, people's heart must work harder so that it can make blood go throughout the body. This extra effort makes it grow stronger over the long term. At the same time, as little as 30 minutes per day can help to lower blood pressure. It helps move away things that are all linked to having high blood pressure.
Exercise has a good effect on people's mind and spirit too. If you are suffering from stress and sadness, regular gentle exercise is one way to improve your full sense of happiness. The way that exercise improves people's mental state is by moving away the bad effect of stress that swims into their bodies, helping them find deep calm.
Some studies even show that exercise keeps people's skin fit. Exercise helps keep skin cells alive and healthy by increasing blood flow. Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to working cells throughout the body, including the skin. In addition to providing oxygen, blood flow also helps carry away waste products. You can think of it just like cleaning your skin from the inside.
However, we should know that when suffering from an illness, try not to finish all your plan for exercise. The body needs time to recover. Strong exercise can be harmful to the immune system (免疫系统) when it is already under pressure. Instead, take a gentle walk when falling ill to help recovery.
So, now you know the benefits of exercise and how to do it properly. What are you waiting for

I was desperately nervous about becoming car-free. But eight months ago our car was hit by a passing vehicle and it was destroyed. No problem, I thought: we'll buy another. But the insurance payout didn't even begin to cover the costs of buying a new car-I worked out that, with the loan (贷款) we' d need plus petrol, insurance, parking permits and tax, we would make a payment as much as 600 a month.
And that's when I had my fancy idea. Why not just give up having a car at all I live in London. We have a railway station behind our house, a tube station 10 minutes' walk away, and a bus stop at the end of the street. A new car club had just opened in our area, and one of its shiny little red Peugeots was parked nearby. If any family in Britain could live without a car, I reasoned, then surely we were that family.
But my new car-free idea, sadly, wasn't shared by my family. My teenage daughters were horrified. What would their friends think about our family being "too poor to afford a car" (I wasn't that bothered what they thought, and I suggested the girls should take the same approach. )
My friends, too, were astonished at our plan. What would happen if someone got seriously ill overnight and needed to go to hospital (an ambulance) How would the children get to and from their many events (buses and trains) People smiled as though this was another of my mad ideas, before saying they were sure I' d soon realize that a car was a necessity.
Eight months on, I wonder whether we'll ever own a car again. The idea that you "have to" own a car, especially if you live in a city, is all in the mind. I live-and many other citizens do too-in a place that has never been better served by public transport, and yet car ownership has never been higher. We worry about rising car costs, but we' d be better off asking something much more basic:do I really need a car Certainly the answer is no, and I' m a lot richer because I dared to ask the question.
57.The author decided to live a car-free life partly because ______.
A.most families chose to go car-free
B.he was hurt in a terrible car accident
C.the cost of a new car was too much
D.the traffic jam was unbearable for him
58.What is the attitude of the author抯 family toward his plan
A.Supportive. B.Disapproving. C.Optimistic. D.Unconcerned.
59.What did the author suggest his daughters do about their friends opinion
A.Argue against it. B.Take their advice.
C.Think it over. D.Leave it alone.
60.What conclusion did the author draw after the eight-month car-free life
A.Life cannot go without a car.
B.Life without a car is a little bit hard.
C.His life gets improved without a car.
D.A car-free life does not suit everyone.

根据第一段最后一句“I worked out that, with the loan (贷款) we' d need plus petrol, insurance, parking permits and tax, we would make a payment as much as 600 a month.”
根据第三段第一句“But my new car-free idea, sadly, wasn’t shared by my family.”
根据第三段最后一句“What would their friends think about our family being "too poor to afford a car" (I wasn't that bothered what they thought, and I suggested the girls should take the same approach.
根据文章最后两句“We worry about rising car costs, but we' d be better off asking something much more basic:do I really need a car Certainly the answer is no, and I' m a lot richer because I dared to ask the question.
"How many players are required for playing the match What does the goal keeper do... "Mack asked while watching a soccer match on television. These simple questions made his parents sense his interest in sports.
"Mom, I want a soccer uniform. I'll go out wearing it and have fun in playing soccer with my friends," he begged his mother. He is a naughty, disobedient (不顺从的) little boy. Whatever he desires, he demands that his parents purchase it in a split second.
"OK," said his mother. "Such uniforms are not generally available. We will get you one shortly, but you need to have patience. "
Mack kept thinking about the uniform and imagining the joy of playing with his friends. The days were passing, but there was no response from his parents. He felt disappointed. He is a very stubborn and disobedient son who never tries to know the circumstances or gives up his idea. He kept thinking how to achieve his dream of having a soccer uniform as early as possible. Then he came up with a great idea—he could paint one of his uniforms while his mother was busy working. At first, he worried that his mother might discover and scold him. But finally, he made up his mind to paint.
One day, as usual, Mack's mother got a very full schedule and it would be a few hours before she could spare time to stay with him. She asked Mack to play with his toys until then. Wanting to keep his mother away for a few hours as well, Mack obeyed pleasantly.
In his room, Mack picked up one of his uniforms and started painting. He first drew a circle with the help of a bowl and then developed it into a soccer image (图像). During the whole process, he took care to avoid the spread of color onto the other side of the uniform. After quite a long time, he finished painting a colorful soccer showing the national flag on his school uniform. It was a remarkable piece of work.
Paragraph 1: There was no disturbance by Mack for a long time, which drew his mother's attention.
Paragraph 2: "It's OK," said the mother.
There was no disturbance by Mack for a long time, which drew his mother's attention. He was much quieter than usual, and his unusual quietness made her have the sense that something went wrong. She went to Mack's room and stared in great surprise when she discovered a painting on his school uniform. Mack got nervous because of his mother's sudden arrival. Not knowing how to explain the painted uniform to her, he lowered his head and started sobbing.
"It's OK," said the mother. She didn't scold Mack. Instead, she walked away and came back with a gift for Mack — his dream soccer uniform. He screamed out of joy." We hoped for patience. It requires a lot of patience as well as efforts to achieve something in life," said Mom." Anyway, you have devoted your efforts, and if you had obeyed us, we wouldn't have found your painting talent." "Thank you, Mom. I love you," said Mack happily.
He was much quieter than usual, and his unusual quietness made her have the sense that something went wrong. She went to Mack's room and stared in great surprise when she discovered a painting on his school uniform. Not knowing how to explain the painted uniform to her, he lowered his head and started sobbing. Anyway, you have devoted your efforts, and if you had obeyed us, we wouldn't have found your painting talent.
