Period1 Changes of our school语篇主题
（一）语篇研读
What：
Wu Binbin邀请爷爷和爸爸参加学校的庆典活动，感受学校今昔的变化，通过学习新词汇gym,grass,dining hall,运用句型There was/were...说出学校的变化，从而更加爱学校。
Why：
利用There be结构能够清晰反应出学校的变化，通过一般现在时和一般过去时的对比，更直观、更形象、更具象，is are的变成was were也是变化之一，形成全面对比。
How：
该对话是比较典型的情景对话，涉及了一些gym,grass,dinging hall,star,look up核心词汇，谈论变化的核心语言：There was/were no...There is/are...在对话中既要学习核心词汇，又要运用所学语言展示学校的变化，加强对学校的热爱及自豪感，具有现实意义和教育意义。
教学目标
通过本课时学习，学生能够：
1.学生能掌握并语用以下词汇：gym,grass,dinging hall,ago,last year.
2.能听、说、读、写并在情景中恰当运用句型：There was/were（no）…years ago.Now there is/are…谈论或描述某个地方的今昔；
3.能在语境中理解生词或短语star，easy，look up，Internet的意思.
4.利用核心句型介绍周围发生的变化。
