教材分析 This teaching period mainly deal with new words and reading. Students are expected to master the new words and can talk about the process of water cycle. The teachers are expected to enable students to master some reading skills--skimming.
核心素养教学目标 1.Knowledge objectives: Enable students to acquire the basic usage of some words and phrases. 2.Skill objectives: ①Predict the topic of reading text by observing the title and picture. ②Understand the main idea of the passage by skimming and looking for the main passage.3. Emotional objectives: Understand the process of water circulation and realize the importance of saving water.4.Thinking quality objectives: Talk about their opinions on water critically and creatively.
重点 Understand the structure and content of the main reading text, and learn the core words and phrases.
难点 Learn and master the process of water cycle.
