Water is so important to people that we can’t live without it. Water is the source of life. If there is not enough water, our lives will be difficult to go on. For example, there is little rain in some places. Farmers there don’t have enough water for growing rice and vegetables. So people in the city may not get enough food.
There’s much water on Earth, but most of it is salty ocean water. In fact, most of the water in the world is not fit to drink. Groundwater may be fresh and drinkable. But it is very easy to be polluted. At the same time, it is not easy to clean up dirty or salty water. So it is very important to save water. Here are the things we can do in our daily lives.
1. Don’t leave the water running when we brush our teeth.
2.Take a shower instead of a bath, because taking a bath uses much more water than a shower —— about twice as much. What’s more, we can take shorter showers.
